Honourable Captain Superintendent of Police,

1.

FRONTIER INCIDENTS.

Quietness prevails on the Sham Chun frontier.

39

In the

past week the work of anti-British propagandists in Sham Chun Market has been much less intense, and fewer anti-British posters are being displayed. But there is talk of a fresh anti-British campaign baing instituted.

2.

At Shataukok, owing to the truculent attitude of the "Lung Man", and their persistence in picketing the boundary path during the absence of our military patrol, and this, too, in spite of repeated warnings, it has been found necessary to have a military guard constantly on the path during the

hours of daylight.

27th February, 1927.

sd. 7.G. Gerrard.

Assistant Superintendent of Police,

(New Territories.)
